My first question for you is, what is your name?
Đỗ Đỗ: Everyone calls me Dodo, but my real name is Thu. You can call me Đỗ Đỗ.

Làm thế nào bạn nghĩ ra cái tên đó? / How did you think of that name?
Đỗ Đỗ: I took the name Đỗ because I think my last name is quite beautiful, easy to call and easy for people to distinguish because my real name is used by many people and the pronunciation of Đỗ Đỗ sounds very cute. I like the way people call me. Such a cute way.

Hiện tại bạn sống ở đâu? / Where do you live?
Đỗ Đỗ: Currently I live and work in Ho Chi Minh city / Sài Gòn

How has HCMC/Sài Gòn changed over the last four years?
Đỗ Đỗ: The past 4 years have been so fast for me that I even forgot what it was like maybe because covid has made me lose my mind and I’ve forgotten a few things I used to love but I can’t really remember what they were. Maybe it’s some kind of animal. And HCMC/Sài Gòn has changed like the way everyone and I are moving forward in a very positive way.

Hiện tại bạn đang yêu màu gì? / What colours are you loving right now?
Đỗ Đỗ: I just decided to choose blue, everyone thought it would bring hope but I like it just because it’s beautiful and blue.

Who is the most powerful person in the world?
Đỗ Đỗ: Of course it’s my parents because they really have limitless tolerance towards me. Life only needs to be tolerated by those who love us and love is considered to be tolerant and forgiving of mistakes. You are truly brave when you accept tolerance and forgive someone. From me, that’s really great because this is also an opportunity for us to continue to do strong things literally and figuratively. They are also mirrors that reflect our hearts. So when you don’t know what you look like, looking in the mirror always gives you the motivation to say you’re beautiful. They are a powerful mirror.

What happens after death?
Đỗ Đỗ: After we die it is the day of judgment everything we have done and how we have lived before will take us to a place we have chosen so whatever happens depends on how we choose and do it right now. Heaven… not hell (laughs)

Describe your last synchronistic moment?
Đỗ Đỗ: When I accidentally met new friends, I didn’t think I could blend in. I didn’t expect that now we are like a family, and there I can be myself more than I’ve ever been.

Giấc mơ cuối cùng Đỗ Đỗ nhớ là gì? / What was the last dream you remembered
Đỗ Đỗ: It sounds a bit silly. I met my grandfather in a dream and he showed me his legs just to remind my mother that I needed to fill everything in for him again. Because it’s Tet in Vietnam, everyone in the family has to clean up. But for some reason, my mother forgot to fill everything on his altar for him, so he found it that night and reminded her that way.
